About EasyCal.in
EasyCal.in is built and maintained by KNKLabs Private Limited. We make free calculators for the money, tax and everyday decisions people in India actually face — an EMI you are about to commit to, a SIP you are thinking of starting, the GST on an invoice, the tax on a capital gain. Every tool is free, needs no sign-up, and works on a phone.
What we offer
Every calculator on the site is listed on the all calculators page. They fall into these groups:
- Mutual funds — SIP, SWP, and lumpsum projections
- Savings and investment — fixed deposit, simple interest, compound interest, monthly interest, PPF, and Sukanya Samriddhi
- Loans and EMI — home loan, home loan with prepayments, personal loan, and car loan
- Tax and GST — income tax, GST, and short- and long-term capital gains
- Health — BMI, calorie needs, and body fat estimates
- Date, time and maths — age, date difference, time, percentage, fraction, standard deviation, and GPA
How these calculators are built
Each calculator implements the standard published formula for what it measures — the annuity formula for EMI, future value of a series for SIP, compound interest at the scheme's own compounding frequency for FD and PPF. Nothing is approximated or fitted.
Because a number on its own is hard to trust, every calculator page shows the working: the formula used, the inputs it was applied to, and a step-by-step breakdown of how the result was reached. If our figure differs from your bank's, you can see exactly where the two calculations part ways.
Where a calculation depends on a figure the government sets — income tax slabs, the PPF and Sukanya Samriddhi interest rates, GST slabs — that figure is held in one place in our code rather than repeated across pages, so an update lands everywhere at once. Each page states the rate or assumption it used, so you can check it against the official source yourself.
Where reasonable people use different methods — ideal body weight, or the old and new income tax regimes — we show the comparison rather than picking one for you.
What these tools cannot do
These are estimation tools, not advice, and not a substitute for a professional. A projection that assumes a 12% return is illustrating arithmetic, not forecasting a market. Actual figures from a bank, fund house or the Income Tax Department can differ because of rounding conventions, fees, scheme-specific terms, or a rule that changed after we last updated a page. Our health calculators are general estimates and are not a diagnosis.
Before acting on anything consequential, check the numbers against the official source and talk to someone qualified. Our disclaimer sets this out in full.
Corrections and feedback
